Position Title:               Director of Business Development: Live Broadcast

SNEAKY BIG is seeking an experienced Live Broadcast/Digital Business Development Manager to join our team of highly skilled individuals.  In your new role, you understand how important tight communications and relationships are, always striving to keep your team informed of new prospects, discussing their requirements together and determining the right solution for each client.  You are proactive and have a keen understanding of the “right” type of clients and work closely with your peers in identifying new sales leads and pitching our services.  Nothing makes you happier than getting to know a new prospect, closing a mutually beneficial deal and seeing it come to fruition in a seamless way.



  • Long-standing relationships with broadcast sports, news networks, regional sports networks, leagues and scheduled event groups
  • Research additional organizations and individuals to identify new markets and partnerships; research the needs of these organizations and learn who makes decisions about purchasing and live, remote productions
  • Contact potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, meetings and industry events
  • Plan and conduct Open Houses to promote live broadcast event productions


  • Prepare and present client presentations
  • Contact clients to inform them about new technology and services
  • Assists in managing pricing sheets for sales
  • Assist in developing quotes and proposals
  • Negotiate and renegotiate by phone, email and in person
  • Develop sales goals for the department and ensure they are met
  • Train, develop and manage sales personnel
  • Perform other duties as assigned related to sales and in general


  • Deep understanding of live and live-to-tape television production and ability to clearly state capabilities and identify solutions for potential and existing clients
  • Experience working with and/or selling REMI (Remote Integration Model) and “At Home” productions for live broadcast
  • Experience with E-Sports live event needs and creating solutions for live and OTT production a plus
  • Ten plus years of business development and sales experience in TV and/or film industry with strong ties and relationships with broadcast vendors producers and directors
  • Proven track record of bringing in new business and a natural ability to drive sales
  • In-depth knowledge of the TV and live production industry and current events
  • Financial acumen in sales budgets/forecasts, KPI’s and understanding on how sales performance is measured; proven track record of attaining sales goals
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, with overnight trips likely
  • Superior customer service skills
  • High aptitude of coaching for performance and leading by example; minimum of five years of management experience
  • Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations

This position is in a combination office environment and production studio and will be required to sit or stand for long periods of time. This position will routinely work on a computer and communicate on the phone.  This position will be required to attend events and meetings outside of the office.  Position will require up to 50% overnight travel.
